Affordable Assisted Living Project
What is the AAL Project: The Michigan State Housing Development Authority
(MSHDA), together with the state Department of Community Health (DCH), the
Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Office of Services to the Aging (OSA),
anticipates selecting and funding six or more concept proposals to construct,
rehabilitate or retrofit Affordable Assisted Living (AAL) units. This Demonstration is
more fully described in the AAL Request for Concept Papers issued August 4, 2006
and available on MSHDA’s web site at www.michigan.gov/mshda.
DYNS Services is a contractor to MSHDA and DCH responsible for coordinating and
managing the project, including development of a new home and community based
waiver for services and supports.
